Message from the Pastor
Hi,
I'm Bobby Ryals, Pastor of Third Street Baptist Church. I want to thank you for visiting our church's website. We can't adequately present TSBC within the framework of this site, so I want to tell you a little bit about your church. We are a loving family church. One consistent comment I get from those who visit our church is, "I've never felt so welcomed". We take great pride in making sure we greet EVERY guest that God sends our way. We don't think our visitors are there by chance, but rather a divine appointment.
What you can expect upon your visit at TSBC, beyond the warm welcome, is simplicity. We believe that our focus should be on the word of God and his beloved people. We come together to give God the proper worship, in which he so rightfully deserves. We worship in song, with traditional hymns coupled with some contemporary songs as well. We like to have our music appeal to multiple generations, and I feel we do a wonderful job of that.
We will worship in truth. We believe what the Bible says and that is what we teach. Most of my sermons include passages, which I work to break down verse by verse for clear understanding. I am here to teach the truth of God's word, in context, so that our members and guests can grow in their knowledge of our Lord. I try to preach in a way that focuses on the practical application of scripture in our congregation's lives. I want you to take what you get on Sunday and practice living that out the next week.
This is a glimpse into what one can expect when they enter the doors of TSBC. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have about our programs, or if you'd like answers to questions, prior to your visit. We do hope you will visit with us soon. May God bless you!

Ephesians 2:19-22 - Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
